Moulting?

Post by Tiramisu on Sun Apr 12, 2009 10:43 am

I have noticed my Orpington losing feathers, and just now saw her dust bathing with feathers all around her. Do any of you know if she is beginning to moult now?

sounds a little young.... maybe she is feather picking herself or geting ready to go broody. but with the way you do your light schedule she may be going into a molt.

O_O well I have not been doing the lights anymore, now whatever light comes through the window is what they get or the light they get from being outside. I noticed some loose feathers on her back....haven't seen as many feathers now though.
